Drone Illusions began with a single quadcopter and a curiosity for what everyday places look like from 100 metres up. Four years later it's a small studio with proper kit, a CAA licence, driven by passion for aerial creativity and capturing unique perspective.
The work stays personal — your ideas sent, you talk to the pilot, the pilot does the edit, the file gets delivered the way you asked for it. No team, no handover, no excuses.

Drone photography and video have changed what's possible. The cinema-grade cameras now flying on a compact drone shoot in 4K and beyond — the kind of angles that once needed a helicopter and a crew, captured by one pilot in an afternoon.
That's what drew me to the industry: it's accessible, fast and efficient, flown safely and legally — and endlessly rewarding. Every site looks different from above, and finding that one perspective nobody's seen is the best part of the job.
The drone is half the job — the cut is the other half. Footage gets graded, scored and shaped into something that actually performs, on whichever platform you need it for.

This policy explains what personal information Drone Illusions (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, why, and what your rights are. We keep it short and plain.

When you send a brief through the contact form we collect the details you choose to give us — your name, email address, and the job details you type (job type, location, your message). We do not collect anything else about you, and we use no advertising or tracking cookies.
Only to read and reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to carry out the work. That’s our lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Submissions are stored securely in our website’s backend (hosted by Supabase) and in our email. They are not sold or shared, and only the studio owner can read them.
We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time.
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to our use of it. Email droneillusions@gmail.com and we’ll action it. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
This site uses only essential browser storage to run (for example, remembering admin sign-in for the site owner). It does not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies, so no consent banner choices affect how you browse.

Sending a brief through the contact form is a request for a quote, not a confirmed booking. Work is only confirmed once we’ve agreed scope, dates, and price in writing. Quotes are estimates and may change if the brief changes.
All flights are carried out under the relevant UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) authorisation and insurance. Some locations, weather, or airspace restrictions can affect what’s possible or require rescheduling for safety and legal reasons.
To the extent permitted by law, Drone Illusions is not liable for any indirect loss arising from use of this website. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
